Allows live display, record , playback, backup and network operation at the same time.

Can record up to 25 image frames per secondper camera in CIF Mode (Real Time) at a resolution of (352 x 288 pixels) or up to6.25 image frames per second per camera in Frame Mode (High Resolution 720 x 576 pixels).

The included 160 GB HDD can record for aproximatley 8 weekswith all 4 cameras set at the highest quality. When the HDD is full you can set the DVR to automatically record over the oldest footage.

You can enable the video motion detection function which can dramatically increase video storage by only recording when movement is detected on each camera. For example if you are monitering a car park you really only want to record when a vehicle or person enters or leaves - not continous footage of a stationary vehicle with no changes for hours on end. Video Motion Detection allows you to maximise HDD storage and makes reviewing footage much faster. Video Motion Detection can be used all the time or only during scheduled times.

If you connect you DVR to a Windows PC Network, you can view your DVR over your network using the included software. If your network has a high speed internet connection you can also view the DVR remotely over the internet (up to 5 users, password protected). The software also enables you to backup / archive footage from the DVR to a PC allowing you to store on anouther HDD or burn to a DVD or CD.
